Due to continuing growth, we are looking to provide opportunities for forklift operators to pursue careers as subcontracted Forklift Instructors or, if you are already a qualified Instructor, the ability to join our approved subcontractor list. This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced and reliable individuals to enjoy:

  • A new career with a professional standing, utilising your previous experience
  • Variety and independence in your day to day work
  • Working in your region
  • Flexible work patterns

In return, subcontractors should have:

  • A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating a counterbalance and/or reach truck, with an accredited training certificate
  • Experience as a qualified Forklift Instructor or be willing to train to achieve the qualification
  • Good inter-personal skills and the ability to relate to varying skill levels
  • A desire to help others learn to become safe, efficient operators
  • Self-motivation to work independently, accurately and efficiently
  • An appreciation of the need to be reliable and professional at all times
  • A full UK driving licence

As an approved subcontractor, you will travel from home to Mentor customer sites within your region where you will deliver accredited training. For suitable candidates, we offer a highly competitive daily rate, plus surcharges, and we can also provide further opportunities for you to develop your skills as an MHE Instructor.
